Vera Polozkova will perform in London with a major solo concert and present her new book Lost and Found.
“I’ve written a new book — my first one published outside of Russia. It contains 77 texts: about love, about war, about craft, about time, about memory, about what has been lost and what has been gained. 77, because that was my mother’s age when she left me last year.”
“It is about gratitude for the gift of being alive and feeling everything threefold, because no one knows now how much time we have left or what experiences still lie ahead. It’s about what we’ve learned to cherish after losing so much forever.”
In this program, Vera will present poems that have become well-known in recent years, prose that is rarely performed live, and, of course, latest texts from Lost and Found.
This performance is in Russian.
