Lundaspexarna presents Gengis Khan
Lundaspexarna is going on tour with the student-spex classic “Gengis Khan”, written originally by Hasse Alfredsson, among others.
Things are looking bleak in the Mongol chieftain’s camp. He is suffering badly from gout, and there seems to be nothing left for his Mongols to conquer. Then, as if by magic, the mysterious Jafar arrives and offers Djingis the key to the legendary city of Samarkand (or, as some call it, the Luton of Asia). Hooray — at last, a chance to stretch those legs! But the seemingly simple conquest is complicated by Genghis’s hot-headed twin sons, who cannot stop fighting each other, and according to the gods, the city is enchanted...
The ruler of Samarkand, Sultaness Sulitelma, is blissfully unaware of Jafar’s secret dealings. She also finds herself facing conquests of a different kind when the city receives an unexpected visitor in the form of the crusader Sir Person. Great drama is promised as both emotions and armies come charging in. Saddle the horses, whip the camels into action, and join us for this classic spectacle where all is fair in love and war!
